FOR 7TH – 12TH GRADE COMPTON YOUTH
 

Hands-On Learning + Mural Design + Guest Artists & Speakers Conversations about Social Justice & Civic Engagement

In partnership with Compton District 2 Councilperson, Andre Spicer, the Compton Mural Project will take a cohort of 15 youth, grades 7-12th, through a process of learning about Compton history, the importance of civic engagement, what social justice can look like, mural design, safety and conversation. Students will work directly with a local artist to design to paint a mural in the community.

It's an opportunity for young people to discover what they're capable of while making friends, learning from mentors, and creating projects they're proud of.

Girls Support is a fun, safe hangout space for girls ages 10 & up to come together, lift each other up, and explore healthy ways to relax, communicate & serve their community.

Girls Support

a FREE program for girls 10+

We now have two options:

  • ATTEND: 🌸 Ages 10–14 — creative activities, confidence building, and fun discussions

  • MENTOR/VOLUNTEER: 🌼 Ages 15+ — deeper conversations, leadership through mentorship, and life balance

 

We meet every other month on Friday nights for DIY crafts, tasty snacks, good music, and real talk. It’s a welcoming space to recharge, connect, and empower one another!
